Jamila Blount, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is an experienced family nurse practitioner who provides exceptional medical care to adult Black women at Noire Telehealth in Houston, Texas. Jamila is dedicated to supporting women’s physical and mental health through all phases of life.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Texas Tech University’s Health Science Center in Lubbock, Jamila went to Texas Woman’s University in Denton for her master’s degree in nursing. She became a family nurse practitioner after completing her post-master’s certification in nursing at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi.

Jamila is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau and Delta Sigma Theta sororities, the National League of Nursing, and a faculty advisor for the National Student Nurses Association. She also works with Ebony Owl Employee Resource Group.
At Noire Telehealth, Jamila specializes in women’s health services, including menopause management, birth control, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) care. She also has years of experience with women’s mental wellness screenings and treatments for depression, anxiety, and other conditions.

In addition to her clinical work at Noire Telehealth, Jamila serves as the clinical operations supervisor at Western Governors University in Dallas, Texas, and on the adjunct nursing faculty at the University of Houston-Victoria in Victoria, Texas.
Among her accomplishments, Jamila established an institution-wide electronic medical record simulation at Dallas Nursing Institute and founded the Learning Resource Center at Dallas Nursing Institute in Richardson, Texas. She has also co-authored articles in peer-reviewed publications.

Jamila has a passion for empowering women to live a healthy, fulfilling life and mentoring aspiring nurses on their career path.

Kafayat (K.T.) Adigun, APRN, is a highly skilled certified family nurse practitioner who provides personalized women’s health services for adult Black women at Noire Telehealth in Houston, Texas. K.T. values the time she spends assessing women’s health needs and challenges. She has a deep understanding of the importance of culturally competent care for Black women throughout Texas.

K.T. earned her master’s degree in nursing and graduated with honors from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. She has contributed to published research papers regarding epidemiology and surgical site infections in oncology patients.

Prior to establishing Noire Telehealth, K.T. was a nurse practitioner in surgical oncology and general surgery at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She also provided superior health care to patients of all ages at American Family Care (AFC) Urgent Care.
Serving her community is important to K.T. She actively participates in many local charitable events, including scholarship banquets for local high school students alongside fellow members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

K.T. also invests her time with March of Dimes, Big Sister Foundation, and other national nonprofit organizations.
